FLASH YOUR DETECTOR
checking latest version…
On the latest build and stuck in a boot loop? Flash the one before it.
The 2.8" CYD ships with one of two different display drivers depending on manufacturing batch, and there's no way to tell which from the outside. If you flash one and get a solid white screen, that's not broken — just flash the other 2.8" option above instead.
- Cheap Yellow Displays have a code like ESP32-2432S028R on the back. The last letter is the touch: R resistive (press), C capacitive (tap).
- Freenove boards say FNK0103 or FNK0104.
- Not on the list? Tell us what it is on GitHub.
- Plug your SquachWatch-CYD into this computer over USB.
- Click Connect & Install above.
- Pick the right serial port from the browser's popup.
- Click Install and leave it be — don't unplug until it says done.
Works in Firefox / Chrome / Edge / Brave on desktop. No app to install — just the browser.
Download WiGLE File is for a T-Watch S3 Plus with WARDRIVE on (WATCH SETTINGS): it saves every network and device the watch logged, with where, as a WiGLE file you can upload at wigle.net/uploads. The log stays on the watch until you clear it.
After flashing, Set Time & Zone tells the board this computer's clock and time zone over the same cable. The zone is kept for good; the clock lasts until the board is unplugged, and a saved WiFi network puts it back at every boot. A T-Watch has its clock set for it after installing, and keeps the time from then on, even through a flat battery.

Board not showing up as a port? Most CYDs use a CH340 USB chip — grab the driver: Windows · macOS · Linux — most Mac/Linux/ChromeOS machines already have this built in, it's mainly a Windows thing.
