The 2.8" CYD ships with one of two different display drivers depending on manufacturing batch, and there's no way to tell which from the outside. If you flash one and get a solid white screen, that's not broken — just flash the other 2.8" option above instead.

Experimental: 80MHz display overclock Runs the screen at twice the rated clock, which you will notice everywhere. Not every panel takes it. If the screen stays white or shows torn lines, reflash with this unchecked.

Your browser can't do this. Flashing needs Web Serial — Firefox, Chrome, Edge or another Chromium browser, on a computer. Phones and tablets can't do it at all, whatever browser they're running. This page needs to be loaded over HTTPS to flash a device.

Plug your SquachWatch-CYD into this computer over USB.
Click Connect & Install above.
Pick the right serial port from the browser's popup.
Click Install and leave it be — don't unplug until it says done.

Works in Firefox / Chrome / Edge / Brave on desktop. No app to install — just the browser.

After flashing, Set Time & Zone tells the board this computer's clock and time zone over the same cable. The zone is kept for good; the clock lasts until the board is unplugged, and a saved WiFi network puts it back at every boot. A T-Watch has its clock set for it after installing, and keeps the time from then on, even through a flat battery.

Board not showing up as a port? Most CYDs use a CH340 USB chip — grab the driver: Windows · macOS · Linux — most Mac/Linux/ChromeOS machines already have this built in, it's mainly a Windows thing.
